James Henry White, 78, of Morton, IL, formerly of Mackinaw, died Saturday August 28, 2010 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Jim was born February 20, 1932 in Lilly, IL, to Oren and Alta McClister White. He married Pat Rogers, she preceded him in death. He later married Alice Siebenthal. She preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was one daughter, Alice Loraine, one son, LeRoy, two brothers, Howard and Oren Jr.

Jim is survived by three children, Judy White of Cedar City Utah, Karen White of San Diego, CA, Wayne White of San Diego, CA, three sisters, Marilyn (Wally) Unsicker of Mackinaw, Hazel (Bill) Ellis of Boise, ID, Elnora White of Redding, CA, one sister-in law, Dorothy White of Mackinaw, two step-sons, Eric (Missy) Siebenthal of Morton, John (Lisa) Siebenthal of Peoria, one grandson, two step-grandsons and one great-grandson.
Jim graduated from Deer-Creek Mackinaw High School and later the University of Illinois. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Jim spent most of his life in California. He moved back to the area in 2002. He was a member of the Mackinaw United Methodist Church.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Memorial services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday August 31, 2010 at Mackinaw United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jack Wolfe will officiate. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be announced at a later date. Haensel Funeral Home in Mackinaw is assisting the family with arraignments. Memorials may be made in memory of Jim to his church.
