Gerry was born August 29, 1931 in Brighton to Orville and Emma Rose Harmon Hart. She married Lawrence W. Peak February 17, 1950 in Normal. He preceded her in death June 15, 2011. Also preceding her in death were her parents, one son, Loren, one sister, Erma Krueger, three brothers, Clifford Strohkirch, Ed Strohkirch, Jim Hart.

Gerry is survived by three children, Connie (Patrick) Williams of Bloomington, Cheryl (William) Roberts of Singapore, Larry (Marilyn) Peak of Bloomington, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ray (Naomi) Hart of Hopedale, Lee (Eileen) Hart of Downers Grove.

Gerry was a member of First Assembly of God in Peoria. Services will be 3:00 PM Sunday January 22, 2012 at Haensel Funeral Home in Minier. The Rev. Larry Peak will officiate. Visitation will be 1:30 to 3:00 Sunday prior to services. Burial will be at Oak View Cemetery in Armington.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made in memory of Gerry to; Passages Hospice.
